Conditions of Hire

Costume Hire: Standard costume hire is 3 days. Cancellation and returns dates will be clearly written on your hire form. Extended hires are available at the time of booking and are subject to availability and at an additional cost.

Hires cannot be taken early as other customers may need to view the costume.

Cancellation: There is no charge for cancellation, provided we are notified 48hrs before the agreed date of collection. Cancellations within 48hrs (prior to collection) will result in the loss of your deposit.

Once hire costumes have been collected they are considered “hired’. No refunds can be given for costumes not worn.

Love Dressing Up cannot be held responsible for unsuitability or incorrect sizing of hires made on behalf of others.

Your Responsibility: During the hire period you must take reasonable steps to protect the costume(s) from loss or damage.

Lost Items: If integral parts of the costume are lost and replacements are not available Love Dressing Up reserves the right to retain the deposit. After the party, return the costume and we will do the cleaning.

Late Returns: Late returns will be charged £5 per day until the full deposit amount is reached. We are human, please contact us and speak to us about any problems or reasons for late returns. If you speak to us we may not charge you a late fee.

Hire Insurance: Pay £3 and protect your deposit. This service covers stains and minor damage but NOT loss of the costume
